Job Title: MechanicMatrix Camps is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our equipment, trucks, generators, and other machinery.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles, including Ford F-350/F-550 trucks and big Tex trailers.
- Perform overhauls on Bombardier snowcats and other heavy equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules, install component and part upgrades, and control corrosion.
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems.
- Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
- Oversee vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.
- Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Must be willing to work in the shop and field conditions.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Facilitate and participate in daily toolbox meetings.
- Ensure work environment meets corporate safety practices.
- Report unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical and regulation publications.
- Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Journeyperson Red Seal Mechanic certification (required, may consider a 4th year apprentice or equivalent combination of work experience).
- A minimum 3-5 years equipment care and maintenance experience is required.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Legally able to work in Canada.

- This is a full-time salaried position, based around Monday-Friday schedule. Weekends off.
