About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Railtown Animal Clinic. As a key member of our veterinary support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with animal care and treatment, including handling, restraining, and caring for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
  • Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on animal behavior and nutrition.
  • Perform a variety of office management and clerical duties, including reception and administrative tasks.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
