About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher Assistant to join our team at Mango Fresh Market Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat
    • Clean and trim meats to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Meat Handling and Packaging
    • Wrap and package prepared meats
    • Remove bones from meat
  • Customer Service
    • Sell meats to customers
  • Additional Tasks
    • Cut poultry into parts
    • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
    • Cut fish into steaks and fillets
    • Grind meats
    Requirements
    • Education
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience
      • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Work Environment
      • Permanent position
      • 35 hours per week
    • Language
      • English language proficiency required
