The Building Condition Assessor is an entry-level position in our Professional Services team. This role provides valuable site evaluation and engineering judgment experience, working independently while being supported by a best-in-industry team of engineering professionals.

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. Conduct building condition assessments for clients, identifying asset condition and deficiencies.
  2. Create detailed reports using our proprietary software.
  3. Develop recommendations and cost estimates for building envelope, component, and system repair or replacement.

Requirements

">
  • Diploma in a relevant technical field such as architectural, civil, mechanical electrical engineering, building science, or building engineering.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of technical standards and processes, including ASTM Practice E2018-15.
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
  • Strong written communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
