Job Summary

Columbia Dungeness Crab Limited is seeking a skilled Financial Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining financial records, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably in a team environment
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week in a permanent position. The work language is English.
