Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Strathmore Ford. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, electrical, and transmission components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and diagnostics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
