PCL Construction is a leading player in the construction industry, and we're seeking a talented Estimating Student to join our team. As a student in our estimating department, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in construction estimating.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of estimates for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions
  • Collaborate with senior estimators to develop and refine estimating procedures
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to work in the construction industry
  • Previous experience in a related field is an asset
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
