Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting best practice nursing skills, and contributing to the development of clinical education initiatives. You will also collaborate with interprofessional teams to establish priorities for nurse learning and skill development, foster a supportive learning environment, and engage staff in continuous quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance nursing staff knowledge and skills.
  • Provide clinical mentorship and coaching to promote excellence in client care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to clinical practice and patient care.
  • Mentor and guide nursing staff in their professional development and growth.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three years of acute, community health, or long-term care nursing practice relevant to the designated clinical area, including experience mentoring nursing staff and leadership training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
