Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Assistance: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Transportation: Willing to travel and use public transportation.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
