Senior Aeronautical Technician

**About the Role**
United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aeronautical Technician to join our team in Bromont, QC, Canada. As a Senior Aeronautical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and modification of experimental electric helicopters, as well as the development of new technologies for electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform experimental systems installation on helicopter (electric propulsion system)
- Adhere to the maintenance schedule of aircrafts to ensure the safety and reliability of the fleet
- Implement and oversee adequate maintenance record-keeping practices using the CAMP software system (or others) to ensure activities are accurately documented
- Participate in test flights by providing ground support. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure the success of each test flight, in coordination with engineering.
- Perform Flight Readiness Inspection to ensure optimal functionality and safety before each flight
- Maintain parts inventory
- Perform all other duties as required
**Requirements**
- Technical Degree from Québec's École Nationale d'Aérotechnique (ÉNA)
- 4+ years of experience in aircraft/helicopter maintenance
- Detailed knowledge of aviation maintenance standard practices
- Capacity to adapt to evolving processes (R&D environment)
- Capacity to adapt and ability to perform various tasks involving hands-on prototyping and office work (computer)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1+ years of experience in RPAS operations
- Private Pilot License
- Knowledge or experience in using maintenance tracking software (CAMP)
- Knowledge of 3D modelling parts and subassembly (hardware, tooling, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Remotely-Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operations
