About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team at HK Plumbing & Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our plumbers in various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Plumbers: Provide support to our experienced plumbers in reading blueprints, instructing apprentices, and performing routine maintenance work.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, and take necessary actions to mitigate the situation.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot and noisy environments.
  • Work Schedule: Work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
