Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems on our yachts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Installation: Repair and install electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and switchboards, to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stored materials and supplies to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Design and Planning: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is required.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work in confined spaces, dusty environments, and hot conditions.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. The candidate must also be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.
