About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Docks and Lifts Unlimited Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, marine works, and other locations.
  • Transport yourself to work sites and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Use your own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written communication and judgment skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and reliably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
