Job Summary

The Chief Officer serves as the most senior staff member of the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board, responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of CMRB policies and programs. This executive provides critical support to the Board, assisting in policy development, program implementation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information, advice, and support to the Board
  • Assist in developing policies, programs, and strategies
  • Lead and oversee CMRB staff
  • Ensure CMRB policies and programs are properly implemented
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and administrative skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and support to the Board. A background in public administration or a related field is highly desirable.
