About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team at Anderson Flooring and Paint. As an Interior Design Consultant, you will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes
  • Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
  • Operate cash register and provide excellent customer service
  • Provide advice about merchandise and assist customers with their purchases
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
