We are seeking a Cashier Associate to join our team at HANNAH'S FOOD MART. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, handling customer transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Payments: Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
  • Receive Payment: Receive payment for goods or services.
  • Calculate Daily/Shift Payments: Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Stock shelves and clean counter area for a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Greet Customers: Greet customers and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
  • Wrap or Place Merchandise in Bags: Wrap or place merchandise in bags for customers.
  • Weigh Produce and Bulk Foods: Weigh produce and bulk foods for accuracy.

This is a permanent position with a varying schedule of 14 to 48 hours per week. Proficiency in English is required.
