Job Description for Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Dezhen Liu. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Linens and Laundry: Stock linen closet, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Trash and Debris: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Windows and Ceilings: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, initiative, judgement, reliability, patience, and honesty.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, temporary position, 30 hours per week, and English language.
