Job Summary

We are seeking a Health Policy Analyst to join our team at the Canadian Centre of Recovery Excellence. As a key member of our health policy development department, you will play a crucial role in shaping policies and guidelines that drive recovery initiatives across Canada.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. You will be working 36.25 hours per week and will be required to travel occasionally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health administration and policy research, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to senior managers and officials on health-related matters;
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs to inform policy decisions;
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines that promote best practices in health recovery initiatives;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions;
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in health issues and apply this knowledge to inform policy decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., public health, health administration);
  • Master's or doctoral degree preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in health policy development or a related field;
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
