Job Title: Data Architect

Charger Logistics is a world-class asset-based carrier that specializes in delivering assets on time and on budget. Our diverse fleet of equipment enables us to handle a range of freight, including dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods, and HAZMAT cargo.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our high-powered, globally distributed team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for building end-to-end data pipelines, developing complex analytical processes, and managing our central data lake for advanced analytics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of databases, visualization, and modeling techniques, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering against tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platforms and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and engineers, to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Oversee the development of end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to visual analytics using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Manage, enhance, maintain, and support our Snowflake-based data lake, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Lead and mentor data engineers, business intelligence developers, and other technical team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, driving agile development practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data platforms or related technologies.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, big data technologies, and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
