Petroleum Service Technician Trainee

About the Role
At BGIS, we're seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you'll be responsible for learning and assisting in the service and repair of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories.
- Support the development of technical skills through on-the-job training and shadowing experienced technicians.
- Participate in the repair and maintenance of leak detection systems.
- Contribute to the management and housekeeping of the shop and warehouse.
- Assist in the delivery of parts to job sites as required.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organized and timely with a focus on professionalism.
