Job Title: Landscape Labourer

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced landscape maintenance professional to join our team at Rockland Landscaping Supplies Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining landscapes, assisting with constructions, raking, collecting refuse, carting and spreading topsoil and other materials, laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, applying fertilizers, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with landscape constructions by ensuring timely completion of projects, collaborating with colleagues, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with waste management regulations.
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials efficiently, utilizing landscape maintenance equipment to ensure accurate coverage and even distribution.
• Lay sod or seed to achieve aesthetically pleasing results, taking into consideration client preferences and project requirements.
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, selecting the most suitable species for each location and adhering to proper care instructions.
• Apply fertilizers according to manufacturer guidelines and client specifications, ensuring optimal plant growth and development.
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, performing routine checks, cleaning, and lubricating to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

Work Environment:
• Work outdoors in various locations, including residential and commercial properties, parks, and gardens.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
