We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Data Clerk to join our team at Curry Corner Indian Restaurant LTd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with experience in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balance of books
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
