About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Saza Accounting Services Inc. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, including QuickBooks.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
