Job Title: Vice-President, Digital

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice-President, Digital to join our team at Iris Energy Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our digital transformation strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of our technology vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify emerging trends and evaluate new technologies for integration.
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage risk and maintain business continuity plans.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, virtualization, and cloud adoption.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party products and services for integration into our facilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and optimize technology investments.
  • Work closely with other department heads to align technology initiatives with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in technology leadership roles, preferably within data center environments.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical challenges while aligning with business priorities.
  • Experience with problem solving in complex projects that have a company-wide impact.
