Job Summary

Olymel s.e.c / l.p is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and recommend replacement of machines as needed.
  • Quality Control: Direct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.
  • Process Improvement: Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth production and meet business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience.

  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
