About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Samuel Packaging Systems Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and integrating complex machine tools, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install machine tools, including complex arrangements requiring precision fitting and adjustment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and clarify design specifications, ensuring accurate assembly and installation.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, providing feedback and coaching on safe work practices and skills development.
  • Install equipment at customer sites, providing training and support to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly and integration, with a strong understanding of mechanical concepts and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate teams, with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Valid passport and driver's license, with ability to travel for periods of up to 2 weeks.
  • Additional hours may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service.
