Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Issewal Music Academy. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Accessibility Support: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, visual accessibility accommodations, and auditory accessibility accommodations as needed.
  • Support for Diverse Groups: Participate in programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Requirements: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. Will train. 40 hours per week. English language required.
