About the Role:

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our residents.
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to our residents.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Repetitive tasks may be required.
  • Handling heavy loads may be necessary.
  • The role may be physically demanding.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking may be required.

Weight Handling:

  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) may be handled.
