About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Design Engineer to join our team at DIGI Technologies International Inc. as a System Integration Specialist. In this role, you will lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.
  • Develop and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure that all software development projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support software development projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our software solutions remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, system integration, and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills in software development, system integration, and project management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based software development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of advanced business application programming (ABAP) and other software development tools.
  • Ability to travel regularly for business purposes.
