About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team as a part-time Float position. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering top-notch customer service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and ensuring they understand the specimen collection process
  • Performing phlebotomies, connecting/disconnecting holter monitors, and ECG tracings
  • Completing data entry for patient demographics, requisition information, and test results

What You'll Bring:

  • Graduation from an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent is preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
