Career Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Field Services Technician/Technologist/Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon. Reporting to a Client Manager, the successful candidate will lead project teams and field projects, creating superior client experiences through commissioning, repair, and maintenance of primary and secondary power equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Service Scope: Equipment upgrades, maintenance, testing, and commissioning services for commercial, industrial, and utility environments.
  • Client Development: Develop client relationships, identify service opportunities, and participate in industry events.
  • Job Preparation & Planning: Ensure all equipment and materials are available for projects.
  • Job Execution: On-site, hands-on work, project status updates, communication with internal and external groups, and issue escalation.
  • Reporting: Complete and submit all documents, technical reviews, and generate reports.
  • Invoicing: Support invoicing to ensure inclusion of applicable extras.
  • Job Follow-up: Ensure follow-up with clients, provide feedback to Managers, and integrate junior employees into projects.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop employees.
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to safety policies and participate in safety meetings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Technologist/Field Technician/Power System Electrician/Electrical Engineer.
  • Hands-on field experience in commissioning, testing, or maintaining power delivery equipment.
  • Broad knowledge in commercial, industrial, and utility environments.
  • Trade or tech school certification required.
  • Electrical Engineering degree, PSE, or CET, and NETA certification is an asset.
  • Proven experience leading engaged and productive project teams.
  • Valid driver's license, self-management, and client focus.
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
