Pernod Ricard, a leading global spirits and wine company, is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Operations Specialist to join our team in Windsor, ON, Canada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all core processes related to North America treasury operations. This includes performing day-to-day treasury activities, such as cash flow forecasts, borrowings, and currency requirements, as well as managing daily cash-on-hand needs within Pernod Ricard parameters.

You will serve as the key liaison with HQ Treasury team in Paris, communicating short-term forecasts and daily cash needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Pernod Ricard treasury guidelines and ensuring policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) per Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd Policy- Management-Supervision-Worker Safety Responsibilities.
  • Daily banking transactions including prior day reporting, payment releases (manual wires, tax payments, electronic file transfers) and regular bank deposits.
  • Responsible for the daily cash disbursement issue resolution with our banking partners.
  • Develops reports and maintains templates within our banking applications.
  • Lights banking related change initiatives (new bank accounts or services), working with bank, Finance and IT to develop test plans and documentation
  • Prepares and monitors daily cash flow forecasts for all entities.
  • Prepares bank confirmations for all bank accounts for annual audit and other audit support.
  • Responsible for updating bank documentation (signature cards, banking resolutions, service documentation) for all bank accounts to ensure that deletions and additions are handled in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for monthly liquidity and forecast reporting for all entities.
  • Completes month end treasury close process for Canadian entities.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years' experience in a Finance environment
  • University Degree: Business / Accounting background
  • Treasury / Banking background preferred
  • Technical savvy - ability to understand and clearly articulate business processes to IT personnel in order to resolve system issues
  • Good working knowledge of the integration of business transactions within the ERP system
  • Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and controls related to cash and treasury best practices
  • Strong leadership, influencing, communication and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work within a complex financial structure
  • Team oriented
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
