Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and guidance to teachers and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
- Student Success: Develop and implement plans to improve student achievement and well-being, working closely with teachers, parents, and community partners.
- Staff Development: Support the growth and development of teachers and staff, providing opportunities for professional learning and development.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community groups, and local organizations to promote the school and the board's mission.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including budgeting, facilities management, and student services.
- Qualifications: Successful completion of Ontario School Principal Qualifications Course Part I and II, completion of Religious Education Specialist, and a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience with at least one year as a Vice-Principal.
- Experience: Experience in both school and board-wide activities, with a preference for experience in a variety of settings.
- Leadership Practices: Demonstrated ability to set directions, build relationships and develop people, develop the organization to support desired practices, improve the instructional program, and secure accountability.
