Job Title: Hairstylist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled hairstylist to join our team at Pure Hair Design Studio INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating stunning hairstyles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment, shampoo customers' hair, and shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair, and apply hair extensions
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair, and suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain and order supplies

Requirements:

  • Barbering Trade Certification and Hairstylist Trade Certification
  • Hairstylist Licence and Barber Licence
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a rural area, in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
  • Non-smoking environment

Security and Safety:

  • Bondable

Transportation/Travel Information:

  • Own transportation and public transportation is available

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
