About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sports Instructor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports programs to residents of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging sports programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical literacy and fundamental movement skills
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe and friendly learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote recreation and cultural programs
  • Meet the requirements of the position, including a current Emergency First Aid certification and HIGH FIVE certification
Requirements
  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Athletic aptitude and experience planning and leading programs
  • Ability to work at various North Vancouver Recreation & Culture locations
  • Police Information Check required
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$23.00, based on training and experience. As a casual employee, you will have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
