About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at HAVEN FIRE PROTECTION LTD. as a Water Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing: Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Piping System Requirements: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Experience and Support: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
