Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient parts distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to ensure prompt communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Clean and maintain the office, supply area, or warehouse to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Conduct sales calls to promote products and services to customers.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Set up displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase products effectively.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • Maintain records on the inventory control system to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Prepare and track work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
  • Process incoming requisitions to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers.
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as required.
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar field of employment.
  • Inventory control software knowledge.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Internet proficiency.
