We are a leading engineering company that specializes in mechanical engineering design and development. We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications. This includes using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for testing machines and equipment, preparing shop drawings, and using computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they meet design specifications.
  • Prepare shop drawings and specifications for production.
  • Use CNC machines to manufacture parts and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and development meet company standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
  • Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Experience with CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
