At BBA Consultants, we're seeking highly skilled electrical engineers or technologists to join our team as cooperative members in Fort St. John.

About the Role

We're looking for individuals with a passion for technical challenge and problem-solving, who can work independently and have a high sense of responsibility. As a member of our Field Services team, you'll be part of a supportive environment that values knowledge sharing and teamwork.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing maintenance activities on protection, control, and high voltage apparatus
  • Supporting service center operations, including organization of testing equipment, ongoing repairs, and device inventory
  • Drafting technical documents, commissioning reports, calculation notes, and estimates

You'll also have the opportunity to participate in detailed engineering projects and apply your expertise to improve established work methods.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree or diploma in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical apparatus maintenance, protection relay, telecommunications, and control systems testing
  • Comfort working in severe weather conditions, remote locations, and on forest service roads
  • Ability to lift 70lbs and travel to our offices across Canada
