Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team. As a Product Specialist, you'll play a key role in satisfying RONA customers and achieving our sales objectives. You'll be responsible for providing detailed product information to customers and other RONA associates, conducting sales activities, and ensuring that shelves are stocked and merchandise is correctly displayed.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the Store Expert: Provide detailed product information to customers and other RONA associates to ensure they have the knowledge they need to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Conduct Sales Activities: Promote and recommend products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs, and work to achieve sales objectives.
- Merchandise Management: Ensure that shelves are stocked and merchandise is correctly displayed to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
- Order Management: Enter new orders for customers, reach out to vendors on special orders, track and fulfill orders, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service through the daily execution of RONA customer service programs, including following up on completed orders to ensure customer satisfaction and assisting customers as needed in locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
- Other Related Tasks: Perform other related tasks as needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role is required.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are necessary for conducting sales activities and making informed decisions.
