The Regional Operations Director is responsible for developing, guiding, evaluating, and supporting regional training initiatives to drive consistent delivery upon existing standards, services, and programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing, guiding, evaluating, and supporting regional training initiatives to drive consistent delivery upon existing standards, services, and programs.
  • Implementing negotiable controls in the areas of deposits, cash, lottery, write-offs, and outdates for both Front Store and Pharmacy.
  • Providing expertise and guidance in the areas of GL inventory analysis and trending, year-end inventory processes, annual cycle counting, and overall inventory best practices.
  • Taking the lead in regional communications to finance as it relates to operational processes.
  • Supports in identifying, developing, and implementing new strategies to continuously improve results, paying special attention to the areas of Margin, Labour, and Total Shrink.
  • Partnering with Regional Directors and District Directors to develop and implement Store-specific strategies that deliver results congruent with their assessed potential.
  • Collaborating with senior management to set store operations strategies and tactical plans that accomplish company goals, facilitate business evolution, and implement processes necessary to effectively operate stores.
