Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for staircases and floors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install stairs, doors, windows, and other wood components.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial wood structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in carpentry and woodworking is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment:
