Job Description

This full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist position is part of our Treatment and Rehabilitation Program, which provides care to individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients, families, and staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote client empowerment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care services
  • Mentor and supervise students and new staff members
  • Pursue research and education opportunities to advance the field of psychosocial rehabilitation

Requirements

  • Current Registration with the CNO
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MScN) or Masters of Nursing (MN)
  • Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in mental health assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
