We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team at CANADA INC.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week with a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in opticianry and relevant work experience. As an Optician at CANADA INC., you will be responsible for analyzing client eye health, prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, and supervising junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze clients' eye health and provide prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses
  • Measure and adjust eyeglass frames to fit clients comfortably
  • Supervise and train junior opticians and student opticians
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to industry standards
Requirements
  • Degree in Opticianry or related field
  • Provincial licensure as an Optician
  • At least 7 months of experience in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
