Job Summary:
The Shred-it Route Driver is a critical role within our Field Services Operations team, responsible for providing exceptional service to clients while ensuring the secure destruction of confidential documents. This position requires a CDL driver with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a company vehicle to transport supplies and materials, ensuring safe and secure transportation of confidential documents.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned truck, reporting any maintenance issues to the Transportation/Dispatcher team.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service, maintaining accurate DOT logs when applicable.
- Manage assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate service to clients, and handling customer inquiries and problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the Transportation/Dispatcher team to optimize routes and ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Medical Examiners Certification.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
