Job Title: RMT (Registered Massage Therapist)

Clinique Altermed PLT is seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate RMT to work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of massage techniques and modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients
  • Administer massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy
  • Assess clients through range of motion and muscle tests, and propose treatment plans
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in massage therapy
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
