About the Role

Aurora Geosciences Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Geologist to join our team. As a Geologist, you will be responsible for conducting analytical studies of core samples, drill cuttings, and rock samples to identify their composition. You will also organize geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical studies of core samples, drill cuttings, and rock samples to identify their composition.
  • Organize geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Identify and advise on anticipated natural risks.
  • Plan analytical studies of core samples to identify chemical, mineral, hydrocarbon, and biological composition.
  • Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
