About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to join our team at BRP. As an Industrial Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in supporting production and optimizing processes to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coach internal clients and implement Lean strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  2. Work with industrial engineering teams to provide production support and develop assembly lines with optimized operations.
  3. Develop and implement specific work instructions to ensure smooth production processes.
  4. Facilitate Kaizen workshops to optimize plants and introduce new models.
  5. Link different information systems and tools to direct operators in their work.
  6. Determine assistance required by operators and influence engineering to standardize methods.
  7. Assess variations for each workstation and take action to minimize them.
  8. Participate in PFMEA to identify and address potential issues.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering.
  2. 0 to 3 years of experience.
  3. Mandatory to speak French, ability to communicate in English.
  4. High proficiency with diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
  5. Knowledge of CATIA, 3DVIA and SAP software.
  6. Proficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value-added concepts.
  7. Ability to conduct time and motion studies to optimize operational efficiency.
  8. Strong analysis and synthesis skills and independence.
  9. Availability for day shift or occasional evening shift teams, as needed.
