Surgery Curriculum Lead Position
">The Northern Ontario School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Surgery Curriculum Lead. This position will provide critical support to our academic leadership team by overseeing the Surgery curriculum at the Clinical Medicine and Therapeutics (CMT) I and II Committees and at the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Curriculum Committee with view of all four years.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Collaborate with the Surgery Section chair to develop and implement a comprehensive Surgery curriculum that addresses the needs of students and ensures integration across the four years.">
- Represent NOSM U UME Surgery at relevant local and national tables, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and promoting the university's reputation.">
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Surgery clerkship exams, ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices.">
- Maintain open communication channels with the CMT Chair, Surgery Clerkship Leads, and CMT I committee members to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.">
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners, including the Assistant Dean, Clinical Education, and the Surgery Section Chair.">
Qualifications
">- A Doctor of Medicine degree from a recognized institution.">
- Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the province of Ontario.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.">
