TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Water Resources Engineer to work with our client, a civil design and engineering consulting firm specializing in various projects across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare servicing and stormwater management related studies under the guidance of the Principal and management team.
  • Plan and execute stormwater management designs and land development projects, including drafting plans and participating in the detailed design process.
  • Contribute to the preparation of master and functional servicing studies for secondary draft plans and site plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, municipal authorities, and conservation organizations to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
  • Assist in managing junior staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, and HEC-RAS is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing and stormwater management related to land development engineering is preferred.
  • Valid registration or ability to register as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta is required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals to complete preliminary servicing and SWM studies.
  • Valid license and ability to conduct site visits as needed.
Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $85,000-120,000, depending on experience.
